Tesla FSD Supervised across the EU
In 10 of 27 EU countries, 17 waiting
Day 209.days since the first EU approval
Who it affects17 of the 27 EU countries, including Germany, France, Italy and Spain. Ten EU countries have it, so this is a patchwork, not a block on the whole EU. The UK, Switzerland and Norway are not on Tesla's list either. Denmark's road authority says national approvals would be withdrawn if the EU vote fails (Reuters).
Clock started10 Apr 2026. The first EU approval: the Dutch vehicle authority RDW approved it on 10 Apr 2026. We count from that day, not the far older US launch. Tesla lists it live in the US, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea and ten EU countries: the Netherlands, Lithuania, Estonia, Denmark, Belgium, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Croatia, Slovakia and Latvia. Tesla is renaming it Tesla Assisted Driving in the EU.

How we checked this
- “The Netherlands Lithuania Estonia Denmark Belgium Slovenia Czech Republic Croatia Slovakia Latvia While we can” on Tesla: Full Self-Driving, seen 5 Nov 2026 (a page the company keeps updated)
- 5 Nov 2026 Dropped "not a Tesla block": regulators have objected to Tesla's design. Label says regulator, since RDW is a national agency. Added what happens if the vote fails.
- 5 Nov 2026 Shown as "part-way" under Waiting on the EU, not as a delayed launch. It is not a Tesla block, and 10 EU countries have it, so "launched elsewhere" would mislead.
- 5 Nov 2026 New timer, replacing the tracker-only row in timers.md. Primary sources now: RDW (10 Apr and 3 Nov 2026) and Tesla's own list of markets, read today. Framed as a patchwork and not a Tesla block: ten EU countries have it, and regulators decide. Counted from the first EU approval, not the US launch. Scope marked narrow-launch because Tesla lists only 17 markets worldwide, so it must never read as Europe alone.
